I’ve been researching a lot of internet marketing thought out there from many of the major industry reasearch companies for opportunities at work. Its really exciting that it looks like online marketing, internet advertising and social media customer engagement are really taking off this year as we charge out of the Global Financial Crisis. According to Forrester Research and others, this year is looking like the year that the interactive marketing spend ( Ad Networks, Search Advertising, Mobile, YouTube, Social Media channels) is going to exceed the traditional marketing spend (Newspaper Display, TV, Radio, Magazines).
Its time to listen out on the wire what our customers are trying to tell us and give them what they want.
Its exciting news for those of us who have been in the industry for over a decade. Now, just to convince my overlords to do the same. 🙂
