OK, the date for launch of the new North Coast TAFE website is set for 19/04/10 which is about six weeks from now. 98% of the content is in place. Content audits are being carried out and missing info updated. Some issues in the workflow have been identified and workarounds will be in place well intime for launch and content manager trainging in the maintenance phase of the project. We’re also working on a versitile course search system that is based on a custom list. A bulk upload from the TAFENSW HOWEX course info system was done and now Customer Services Centre staff are busy updating the content as it relates specifically to our 17 campus locations. Tricky stuff with over 3000 records. I’m responsible for the presentation of this information in the website. Anyway, I’ll keep you posted 🙂
